Core Values: Respect, Heritage, Dynamic, Community, Excellence, & Integrity Primary Purpose: To assist in the facilitation of the daily golf operations which includes: maintaining a platinum level of service to members and guests; assist with management of outside operations staff; manage daily operations of the golf shop and golf course; Retail Inventory- help manage and physically count merchandise in an effort to successfully manage inventory levels; Tournament Preparation- prepare, organize and take part in tournaments and weekly events as assigned by the Director of Golf and Head Professional.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of typical golf course procedures.
  • Age 21, valid Driver’s License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Reliable and predictable attendance.
  • Present a positive, professional image, clean and neat appearance.
  • Must be self-motivated and customer service oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
  • Note: May require CPR/First Aid and AED certification; training will be provided by Desert Highlands.
