Maryville High School is seeking an Assistant Coach for the Track and Field Program. Manage and supervise athletic activities, contests, and practice sessions, to promote individual growth in athletic skills, teamwork, discipline, respect, and good sportsmanship. Be present and active during any activity involving track and field athletes. Coordinate the development, promotion, and retention for the Track and Field Program Assist the head coach in running a regular practice schedule and practice plan along with other coaches to provide both individual and team development along with consistent implementation of expectations. Assist student-athletes with college recruitment. Actively support student athlete post-secondary goals. Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, governing organizations (TSSAA), opponents, officials, staff, parents, and students. Incorporate best practices into a growth-oriented teaching/coaching style Perform duties assigned to all coaches by administrators Assist the head coach with development and management of the team budget strictly according to bookkeeping procedures. Work with the administration to achieve district goals described within the Maryville City Schools Strategic Plan FLSA: Exempt
