About The Position

The Assistant General Manager at Green Thumb Industries is responsible for managing and overseeing all dispensary operations to ensure compliance with security, inventory, and local and state regulations. This role involves motivating team members to execute programs, initiatives, and regionalized in-store promotions effectively. The Assistant General Manager will oversee quality product inventory, financial records, and Seed to Sale compliance, while maintaining appropriate cash management and daily reconciliation. Additionally, the role includes managing effective order and expense management processes aligned with store budgets. The Assistant General Manager will coach and motivate team members to deliver memorable, positive in-store customer experiences, lead by example during 'Leader on Duty' shifts, and execute a seamless omni-channel customer experience. This position also involves community outreach and supporting local initiatives.

Requirements

  • At least three years of managing teams in a retail setting.
  • Cannabis experience preferred.
  • Inventory control experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a schedule inclusive of varying shifts.
  • Must have reliable attendance.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Must pass required background checks.
  • Must possess valid driver's license or state ID.
  • Must understand and comply with cannabis laws and regulations.
