The Assistant General Manager (AGM) plays a crucial role in supporting the General Manager (GM) in overseeing the daily operations of a Hardee's restaurant. This position is integral to upholding the Brand Vision, Mission, and Promise while embodying CKE's Core Values. The AGM is responsible for ensuring compliance with company standards across various operational areas, including product preparation, customer service, facilities maintenance, and financial accountability. By assisting the GM, the AGM actively participates in selecting, training, and coaching top talent to achieve key results in People, Customer, Sales, and Profit. In this role, the AGM may perform a variety of essential functions. This includes demonstrating CKE's Core Values while helping the GM build a high-performing team through effective selection, training, retention, and recognition of employees. The AGM executes the Performance Management process to ensure that employees are set up for success and held accountable for their performance. Additionally, the AGM partners with the GM and Human Resources to address employee relations activities and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. The AGM is also responsible for monitoring and training staff on all job duties across different shifts, ensuring that customer service, food preparation, cleaning, and stocking are performed to the highest standards. This position requires the AGM to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, to observe all day parts of the restaurant's operations. The AGM drives a customer-focused culture by resolving customer issues and training employees to meet or exceed service standards. Furthermore, the AGM assists the GM in scheduling, inventory management, and ensuring food safety standards are met during shifts. The AGM collaborates with the GM to implement marketing initiatives and analyze sales, labor, and inventory to achieve growth targets.
