The Assistant General Manager (AGM) plays a crucial role in supporting the General Manager (GM) in overseeing the daily operations of a Hardee's restaurant. This position is integral to upholding the Brand Vision, Mission, and Promise while embodying CKE's Core Values. The AGM is responsible for ensuring compliance with company standards across various operational areas, including product preparation, customer service, facilities maintenance, and financial accountability. By actively participating in the selection, training, and coaching of top talent, the AGM helps drive key results in People, Customer, Sales, and Profit. In this role, the AGM may perform a variety of essential functions. These include demonstrating CKE's Core Values while assisting the GM in building a high-performing team, executing the Performance Management process to set employees up for success, and partnering with the GM and Human Resources to address employee relations activities. The AGM is also tasked with monitoring and training staff on all job duties, ensuring proper supervision of the restaurant, and maintaining a customer-focused culture by resolving customer issues effectively. The AGM assists the GM in creating schedules, completing inventory orders, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Additionally, the AGM collaborates with the GM to implement restaurant-level plans and marketing initiatives, analyze sales and labor, and take corrective actions to achieve margin and sales growth targets. Effective communication with all levels of internal and external contacts is essential, as is the ability to take initiative in maintaining a clean and efficient restaurant environment.
