Hobbs Brook Real Estate LLC is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support the General Manager in managing a portfolio of properties. The AGM will play a crucial role in property management, focusing on tenant relations, maintenance, vendor management, inspections, contract administration, financial reporting, and more. This position requires a proactive approach to ensure tenant service needs are met, issues are resolved promptly, and all work orders are completed efficiently. The AGM will also assist in planning and facilitating tenant events, maintaining accurate tenant database information, and leading emergency response preparedness training. In addition to tenant services, the AGM will oversee vendor management, including the administration of the vendor prequalification process and monitoring the Certificate of Insurance program. The AGM will collaborate with the facilities team to ensure robust preventative maintenance programs and will be involved in energy savings initiatives to lower the carbon footprint of the properties. Financial responsibilities include preparing monthly property reports, assisting in the annual budget preparation, and overseeing accounts receivable functions to ensure timely collection of rents and other charges. The AGM will conduct regular inspections of the campus and buildings, ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and security. This role requires strong collaboration with various internal departments, including asset management, legal, and construction project management. The AGM will also be responsible for developing and training Property Management Assistants (PMAs) in property management systems and functions, ensuring that all property files are maintained accurately. Participation in industry events and educational programming is encouraged to support professional development.
