Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services, is seeking an energetic and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant General Manager. This full-time position is based at our location in Atlanta, Georgia, but requires flexibility to work across the district from Alpharetta to Decatur. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the General Manager to lead the team, ensuring that we provide top-notch customer service and a safe, clean environment for the dogs in our care. This role is ideal for someone who possesses strong team management skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the creation of staff schedules, monitoring daily operations, and maintaining optimum staffing levels. You will lead by example, coaching your team to foster a positive, team-oriented culture. Performance reviews will be part of your responsibilities, as well as recognizing and rewarding employees for their contributions. You will also play a key role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our furry friends, ensuring that all safety and cleaning standards are met. Financial and administrative duties will include utilizing training opportunities for the team, communicating developmental needs to management, and working with the team to assure our quality of care sets the standards for dog care. Customer service is paramount, and you will be expected to maintain a neat and organized front desk area while setting an example for your team in customer engagement.
