About The Position

Carolina Ale House is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team! We are looking for an experienced, professional, and personable Assistant General Manager to support daily business operations. Must have 2 years of full service restaurant experience while managing teams, including leading other managers. Your role involves managing scheduling, food preparation, and service. Responsibilities include planning, directing, and overseeing all operations, ensuring standards are met, and maintaining procedures. You'll handle administration, sales, profitability, safety, staffing, and training within a restaurant department. This entails overseeing guest relations, staff supervision and levels, restaurant ambiance, cleanliness, set-up, food and beverage quality, safety, and pace.

Requirements

2 years of full service restaurant experience while managing teams, including leading other managers

Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the business
Train and manage all associates
Provide leadership and direction to associates during shifts
Ensure that all associates are completing their daily tasks efficiently and effectively
Maintain a positive attitude towards guests, customers, vendors, etc.
Maintain a clean workspace at all times
Work with other managers to ensure that all team members are working efficiently and effectively
Ensure that food is being prepared at appropriate temperatures throughout the day
Ensure that all areas of the business are clean and sanitized at all times
Ensure that proper procedures are being followed for each customer arriving at the business
Ensure that proper procedures are being followed for each vendor leaving the business
Maintain an effective communication system between management and all employees at all times
Other duties as assigned by management
