About The Position

The Assistant General Manager works closely with the Owner and Lead Instructor to assure the performance and success of the studio, including, but not limited to staffing, scheduling, cleaning, lead nurture, sales, and studio maintenance. With 50+ studios running and 250+ territories sold, we are continuously building our teams of instructors, salespeople, managers, and operators, to prepare for expansion. In-depth training is provided through our learning management system, along with hands-on training with the management team. At SPENGA, our members come for the workout and stay for the community. Requirements

  • Strong management and leadership abilities
  • Ability to create a successful environment for staff and clients
  • Previous sales experience required; fitness industry or high-end goods & services preferred
  • "Coachability"/Willingness to learn. Candidates must be able to adapt to our exciting new fitness philosophy

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, coach/mentor, and schedule Member Experience Associates for times when not in the studio
  • Work with the Owner and Lead Instructor to assure we meet membership growth, revenue, and expense expectations
  • Work with the Owner and Lead Instructor to assure an excellent member experience
  • Lead nurture with the goal of driving prospect trial
  • Sell membership, packages, personal training, wellness programs, and retail
  • Perform community outreach and plan/execute community events
  • As a SPENGA ambassador, managers will promote, sell, and add to the SPENGA culture in and out of the studio
