Starlite Yellowstone, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is a newly reimagined lifestyle hotel located steps from the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Following a complete renovation, the property features approximately 133 modern guest rooms and amenities designed to reflect the rugged beauty and character of the Yellowstone region. Managed by Vista Host Management & Development Company, Starlite Yellowstone is part of a growing portfolio focused on operational excellence and long-term growth. The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager in driving overall hotel performance, with direct accountability for financial results, labor management, and operational execution. This role oversees daily operations across key departments while ensuring expenses, productivity, and revenue opportunities are actively managed. The AGM leads from the floor to ensure exceptional guest service while maintaining disciplined cost control and operational efficiency. This position serves as the acting General Manager in their absence.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of hotel leadership experience required; multi-department experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of hotel financial performance, including labor management and cost control
  • Experience with Hilton systems preferred (PEP, QA, Honors, etc.)
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the property for extended periods
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Support overall hotel financial performance, including labor management, expense control, and revenue optimization
  • Monitor daily operating results, including occupancy, ADR, and labor productivity, and adjust operations accordingly
  • Ensure staffing levels align with business demand while maintaining service standards and cost efficiency
  • Lead front office and housekeeping operations with a focus on both guest satisfaction and productivity targets
  • Act as Manager on Duty, maintaining a visible presence and supporting all departments as needed
  • Drive guest satisfaction through direct interaction, service recovery, and proactive engagement
  • Monitor guest feedback and service scores, implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Support revenue strategy execution, including rate integrity and group coordination
  • Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, QA requirements, and company policies
  • Assist in hiring, training, and performance management across departments
  • Maintain clear communication between departments to ensure operational alignment
  • Partner with the General Manager on budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
  • Ensure property presentation, cleanliness, and maintenance standards are consistently upheld
  • Step into General Manager responsibilities in their absence
