The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is a developmental role designed to support the General Manager while gaining the skills experience and strategic perspective required to become a future General Manager (GM). The AGM assists with day-to-day operations, property initiatives, team leadership and cross-departmental collaboration while progressively taking on greater responsibility as proficiency grows. Working alongside the GM the AGM helps champion Macerich corporate initiatives, supports community and retailer partnerships and contributes to delivering an exceptional experience for tenants, guests and stakeholders. The successful candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily.
