What You’ll Do As Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence and team engagement across the property.

Requirements

3+ years of hotel management experience
Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding service
Strong leadership and team development skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Deep understanding of hotel operations and service standards

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day hotel operations including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Engineering
Lead by example to deliver exceptional guest service and memorable experiences
Support recruiting, hiring, training, and performance development of associates
Assist with financial performance, budgeting, and profitability initiatives
Ensure teams consistently meet brand and Colwen Hotels service standards
Foster a positive, engaging, and respectful workplace culture
Champion associate recognition and engagement initiatives
Conduct daily property walks to ensure cleanliness, product quality, and service excellence
Collaborate closely with all departments including Sales & Marketing, Finance, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance
