About The Position

We’re looking for a strong, steady, and driven Assistant General Manager to help lead daily operations at The Admiral’s Inn. This is not a back-office role. You’ll be on the ground—supporting the team, engaging with guests, and helping run a fast-paced, multi-faceted property including rooms, spa, and food & beverage. You’ll work side-by-side with the General Manager as a true operational partner—someone who steps in, takes ownership, and helps keep everything running smoothly. You won’t just assist—you’ll help stabilize, lead, and elevate the property alongside the GM. Your presence will directly impact team culture, guest experience, and daily operations. Requirements

  • Full-time, on-site availability (including weekends & holidays)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stay active throughout the day
  • Calm, clear, and steady under pressure

  • Takes ownership instead of waiting for direction
  • Brings consistency, accountability, and positive energy to a team

Responsibilities

  • Support daily hotel operations across all departments
  • Act as a visible leader for both staff and guests
  • Resolve guest needs quickly and professionally
  • Help manage scheduling, payroll, and expenses
  • Lead and support team members through coaching and direction
  • Step into leadership when needed and keep operations moving
