About The Position

Working as the Assistant General Manager for a premier corporate dining account, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest quality of daily operations in accordance with Union Square Events brand standards and client expectations. This position offers a desirable Monday through Friday schedule.

Requirements

Minimum of three years of upscale food service experience
Excellent leadership and organizational skills, flexible and adaptable to constant changes and must possess attention to detail
Effective problem solving and conflict management skills
Must be knowledgeable on HACCP controls along with proper storage and use of food
Review work procedures and operational problems in order to determine ways to improve service, performance, and/or safety.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Exceptional business etiquette and client relations
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

ServSafe or Department of Health certification a plus

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
Manage a team- interview, hire, train and coach employees
Participate in employee meetings and training programs
Maintain account financials- Prepare and monitor budgets, flash reports, financial targets and forecasts
Perform related duties and special projects as assigned
