The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager in overseeing all plant operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives, financial targets, quality standards, and workforce performance. This role provides cross-functional leadership across the organization to drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and sustainable growth. The AGM is responsible for executing strategic initiatives, monitoring key performance indicators, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and customer requirements. This position serves as a key decision-maker in the absence of the General Manager and plays a critical role in developing leadership capability throughout the organization. In addition to operational accountability, the Assistant General Manager must lead by example by actively fostering and modeling LM’s 5Cs culture — Care, Commit, Connect, Communicate, and Celebrate.
