Assistant Moving Center Management Team
About The Position
U-Haul Company is seeking an Assistant General Manager to take on more responsibility and advance their career. This role involves frequently managing the day-to-day operations of a center, working as part of a team, and acquiring valuable skills. U-Haul offers immediate start and pay, including a $100 hiring bonus and a $300 cash bonus upon completion of the 1-2-3 Punch Certification Program. Since 1945, U-Haul has provided do-it-yourself moving equipment nationwide, a concept initiated by co-founders L.S. "Sam" Shoen and Anna Mary Carty Shoen after World War II to meet the widespread need for one-way moving solutions across the U.S. and Canada.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record
- Leadership experience in any form
- Customer service experience
- Ability to work a variety of shifts
Responsibilities
- Run daily operations of center in General Manager’s absence
- Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects
- Manage and assign your team members to ensure that customers receive an excellent first impression and the highest quality of care
- Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
- Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University
