About The Position

As the Assistant General Manager, you will support the overall leadership and operational excellence of all non–food service hospitality functions, including conference services, reception, guest experience, and facility-facing service teams. You will partner closely with the General Manager to drive strategic initiatives, elevate service standards, and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.This role requires a confident, hands-on leader with strong operational acumen, exceptional people leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple service lines in a fast-paced, client-driven environment. You will serve as a visible leader, decision-maker, and culture champion across the operation.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a senior leader and trusted partner to the client, stakeholders, and internal leadership team.
  • Represent the operation in the absence of the General Manager, serving as the primary escalation point.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high-profile clients and senior-level stakeholders.
  • Lead and support execution of high-impact meetings, events, and guest experiences.
  • Drive strategic service initiatives aligned with client goals and organizational objectives.
  • Champion innovation, change management, and continuous improvement across all service areas.
  • Oversee daily operations across all assigned non–food service hospitality functions.
  • Ensure all services consistently meet or exceed client expectations, SLAs, and KPIs.
  • Partner with the General Manager to manage operational planning, workflows, and resource allocation.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across departments.
  • Conduct operational audits to ensure compliance with service standards and policies.
  • Prepare and present operational reports, Monthly Business Reviews, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure all guest-facing spaces are presentation-ready and maintained to brand standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire managers and frontline teams, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and excellence.
  • Support leadership development and succession planning within the operation.
  • Oversee onboarding, training programs, and ongoing professional development initiatives.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support individual development plans.
  • Lead daily huddles, recognition moments, and service-focused communications.
  • Manage staffing plans and labor alignment based on business needs and volume.
