Why This Role Matters As Assistant General Manager, you will be a key leader responsible for ensuring seamless daily operations while inspiring teams to consistently deliver memorable guest experiences. You will partner closely with the General Manager to help drive operational excellence across Front Office, Housekeeping, Accounting, Food & Beverage and Engineering, ensuring that every guest interaction reflects the Autograph brand and Colwen Hotels’ commitment to service. A primary focus will be an oversight of the Front Office and Accounting. Requirements

  • 3+ years of hotel management experience
  • Strong leadership and team development abilities
  • F&B Operations experience a primary focus
  • A hands-on approach to hotel operations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A passion for guest service and hospitality excellence
  • The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of hotel operations across multiple departments

Responsibilities

  • Leading daily hotel operations across all key departments
  • Driving a culture of exceptional guest service
  • Coaching and developing associates to reach their full potential
  • Supporting recruiting, hiring, and team engagement initiatives
  • Assisting in achieving financial goals and operational performance
  • Ensuring brand standards and service excellence are consistently delivered
  • Maintaining a positive, respectful, and motivating work environment
  • Conducting daily property walks to ensure quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction
