As the Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Florida Avenue Brewing Co., you will be the primary driver of execution and flow within our bustling brewery. Your role as a "boots on the ground" leader ensures that whether it’s a quiet Tuesday afternoon or a slammed Saturday night, the taproom and restaurant operate seamlessly. While primarily focused on the Front of House (FOH), your versatile leadership extends to overseeing kitchen operations, allowing you to step in when needed. You’ll manage transitions between low and high volume, curating the perfect "vibe" for each moment as our Master of Flow. Your dual-leadership style will guide the FOH team while keeping a watchful eye on kitchen execution. During off-peak times, you will build a loyal community of regulars, and during peak hours, you'll expertly manage pacing, seating, and staff efficiency. With a keen eye for detail, you’ll also leverage our tech stack, ensuring that the business side of our taproom shines just as brightly as the service we provide. To thrive as the Assistant General Manager at Florida Avenue Brewing Co., a blend of technical and operational skills is essential. You should be highly proficient with modern tools such as Toast POS, ensuring smooth tables and KDS management while delivering exceptional customer service in our taproom. Your expertise with XtraCHEF will aid in inventory and finance management, effectively handling costs of goods sold and invoice processing. Keeping our digital boards current through Untappd will also be part of your responsibilities. You will leverage Google Suite for scheduling and reporting, ensuring seamless collaboration. With over 3 years of hospitality management experience, you are versatile and proactive, willing to tackle any challenge, from fixing a foamy keg to assisting the kitchen during peak hours. Reservation Software: Toast Tables.
Inventory & Finance: XtraCHEF (for COGS and invoice management).
Menu Management: Untappd (keeping our digital boards and lists current).
Collaboration: Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides & Calendar for scheduling and reporting).
Versatile & Proactive: You have 3+ years of hospitality management experience.
You understand that "Manager" means doing whatever it takes—from fixing a foamy keg to helping the kitchen during a rush.
Execution-Minded: You have a "sense of urgency" built into your DNA. You can spot a bottleneck before it happens.
A Connector: You love people. You know your regulars' names and their favorite pours.
You enjoy using data and tech (like XtraCHEF and Toast) to improve margins and efficiency.
