About The Position

LUV Car Wash was founded in Sept of 2021, and has rapidly grown to over 80 locations in 6 states. The company is looking to add an Assistant General Manager with Maintenance Lead responsibilities to its growing team to help continue its mission to become the best car wash in the industry. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the carwash, overseeing all employees, and facilitating breaks/shifts for the team. Additionally, the Assistant General Manager will be responsible for Maintenance Lead duties, including completing online and in-person trainings, ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the backroom, performing all equipment Preventive Maintenance, conducting conveyor checks, updating checklists and work orders, and completing minor repairs while assisting with larger maintenance items.

Requirements

HS Diploma or GED equivalent
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Passionate about creating genuine connections with team members and providing excellent customer service
Moderate proficiency in MS Office, including Excel

Nice To Haves

A minimum of year (1) year of car wash experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of the carwash
Manage all employees
Facilitate breaks/shifts for the team
Direct cars into the wash tunnels
Carry out visual inspections of vehicles to confirm their condition before sending them into the tunnel
Perform cleaning of the facility and ensure everything is organized and kept in the appropriate place
Monitor inventory and supplies and assist with orders
Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures
Properly address all customer escalations in a calm and collected manner
Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Assist with recruiting, developing, and motivating teams to deliver the company's mission
Follow standard procedures for cash management to include daily reconciliations, audits, and deposits
Complete all online trainings, pass the online test, and complete in-person training per merit
Remain up-to-date on applicable trainings pertaining to their tier and associated trainings as new trainings are launched or updated
Responsible for the cleaning and organization of the backroom of the car wash, including but not limited to tools, work bench, spare parts, chemical organization, and overall cleaning
Responsible for all the equipment Preventive Maintenance, including but not limited to greasing bearings, oil changes, belt replacements, filter cleanings, and other items on the PM Checklist
Ensure proper tension and smooth operation of the conveyor by conducting proper conveyor checks
Responsible for keeping checklists and work orders on MaintainX up-to-date with accurate information pertaining to any PM or repair work orders
Responsible for completing minor repairs such as bearings, shocks, spindles, oil changes, solenoids and valves
Responsible for some of the larger repairs with or without a Maintenance Technician if needed, such as wrap replacement, assisting with blowers, Top Brush Repair, and other maintenance items
Must be willing to work flexible hours before a site opens or after a site closes
