About The Position

The Assistant General Manager at Keolis Transit America is responsible for overseeing the operational performance, safety, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement within the transportation service. Requirements

• 3 years of management experience including profit/loss responsibility.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent training and experience.
• Experience in emergency planning, incident response, and safety management in a transportation environment.
• Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding transit operations.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and possess excellent communication skills.

• Experience in driver scheduling practices.
• Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the department's organizational safety performance.
• Ensure all relevant statutory and regulatory safety policies are applied and adhered to.

• Accountable for the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of passenger service delivery.
• Lead the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of operations.
• Monitor, report, and actively improve the operational performance of the organization.
• Implement, monitor, and maintain customer-centric processes to enhance customer experience.
• Set the tone of leadership throughout the department through implementation of management principles.
• Manage union relationships to be productive and enable win-win outcomes.
• Deliver financial requirements for account payable, client billing, payroll, and reporting in a timely manner.
