We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to support our transit bus operation. The Assistant General Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, implementing strategic initiatives, and fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence. In this role, you will assist in the management of all aspects of transit bus operations, including scheduling, dispatching, fleet maintenance, and driver supervision. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing transit operations, safety standards, and environmental regulations. Collaborating with the Corporate Team, you will develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, improve service quality, and meet performance metrics. As a leader, you will provide mentorship to supervisors, dispatchers, mechanics, and drivers, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and professionalism. You will champion a customer-centric approach, focusing on enhancing the passenger experience, resolving complaints, and implementing service improvements. Additionally, you will identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the safety of passengers, employees, and the public.
