We are seeking an Assistant General Manager with a primary focus on leading and driving performance of the outside HVAC sales team . This role partners closely with the General Manager to grow revenue, develop sales talent, and ensure strong alignment between sales and operations. Requirements

  • 2+ years of residential HVAC sales or sales leadership experience
  • Proven success leading outside / in-home HVAC sales teams
  • Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems and replacement sales process
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing sales professionals
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing KPIs, forecasting, and performance metrics
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Strong leadership, communication, and business acumen

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the outside HVAC sales team (Comfort Advisors) to meet and exceed revenue goals
  • Drive sales performance, close rates, and average ticket growth through consistent coaching and accountability
  • Conduct ride-alongs and in-field training to improve sales effectiveness and consistency
  • Partner with the General Manager to execute sales strategies and growth initiatives
  • Monitor sales KPIs, reporting, and forecasting to ensure targets are achieved
  • Align sales efforts with install and service teams to ensure smooth job turnover and customer satisfaction
  • Support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new sales team members
  • Assist in pricing strategy, promotions, and sales process improvements
  • Resolve escalated customer concerns and ensure a strong customer experience
  • Collaborate with operations teams to maintain efficiency and profitability
  • Support overall branch performance including revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction goals
