About the position

The Assistant General Manager at Equinox is responsible for ensuring smooth operational procedures across all departments, enabling the club to deliver exceptional customer service. This role involves training and supervising staff, managing inventory control, payroll budgets, and general club maintenance, while supporting the General Manager in various projects and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Train and supervise the Front Desk, Housekeeping, and M.O.D managers.
  • Manage multiple aspects of inventory control, payroll budget, daily bank deposits, and shift coverage.
  • Educate staff on proper company policies and procedures.
  • Assist the General Manager in facilitating delegated projects and responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of management experience in a customer service business.
  • Proven leadership ability in educational, fitness, or professional settings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue.
  • Financial management experience.
  • 4-year college degree strongly preferred.
