Pinz Entertainment Multiplex is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our vibrant team at the iconic Pinz Bowling Center in Studio City, CA. Since 1958, Pinz has been a staple in the Los Angeles area, evolving to include a diverse range of offerings such as Kitchen + Bar, a multi-dimensional dining and drinking space, Meltdown, our whimsical ice cream and dessert shop, and the Animal Bar, which features live band karaoke, comedy, and event space. The AGM will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our facilities, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining the high standards of our food and beverage offerings. The AGM will be responsible for managing the Kitchen + Bar, which boasts a 160-seat capacity and features an extensive scratch pizza menu, small/share plate offerings, and a full bar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, particularly in food and beverage, and will be expected to lead by example with a hands-on approach. This role requires a commitment to guest service, the ability to resolve issues promptly, and a history of proven leadership in developing hourly staff. The AGM will report directly to the General Manager and Vice President, ensuring that all operational directives are executed effectively and consistently. Candidates must be prepared to work weekends, nights, and holidays, with an average work week of 50 hours. The AGM will also be involved in payroll and human resources functions, including scheduling, staffing, and training new hires. A successful AGM will demonstrate superior follow-through skills and a sense of urgency in all tasks, contributing to the overall success of Pinz Bowling Center.
