Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Maintain a CPR / AED certification.
  • At least 6 months directly managing a team of multiple employees.
  • Experience in sales and operations management or lead role.
  • Experience recruiting, interviewing, and developing your own team.
  • Experience dealing directly with customers as well as vendors.
  • Effective English communication skills.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is favored.
  • Passionate about fitness and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Proficient in multitasking, driven by self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
  • Committed to continuous personal development.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and maintain weekend performance objectives.
  • Conduct monthly safety and preventative inspections.
  • Boost supplementary revenue through retail and upgrades.
  • Manage operations to enhance member retention.
  • Recruit and onboard new team members.
  • Report on staff education and development to the General Manager.
  • Handle club orders, processes, and daily operations.
  • Ensure gym maintenance, cleanliness, and budget management.
  • Oversee Maintenance Specialists, including hiring, performance management, and administrative actions.
  • Create and maintain staff schedules to meet club standards.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to resolve member and facility issues.
  • Maintain logs and work orders for all club equipment.
  • Handle facilities, equipment, and IT tickets promptly.
  • Maintain records in accordance with local and federal laws.
  • Ensure the gym and surrounding grounds are visually appealing and well-maintained.
  • Liaise with the General Manager and HQ on club needs.
  • Be reachable by staff, leaders, and HQ as needed.
  • Attend company meetings and marketing events.
  • Assist with bank deposits as needed.
