Responsibility for handling and supporting a broad array of litigation, employment, and contractual matters for the Allegis family of Companies (“Company”) primarily Aerotek, Inc. (“Aerotek”) in North America including providing demonstrably effective partnership, trusted legal advice, counsel and services to the Company’s shareholders, executives and affiliates and supporting initiatives from the Finance, Strategic Sales, Human Resources, Employment Compliance, Marketing, Operations, and other Corporate teams and members of the Legal Department. Additionally providing support where requested on commercial and procurement contract drafting and negotiation. In-Office Requirement: Required in office 4 days a week.

  • Develop as a recognized strategic Legal and business expert and partner within the Legal Department handling a broad array of matters.
  • Solve complex problems through specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in various related subject matter disciplines.
  • Anticipate and interpret internal and/or external challenges and/or regulatory issues and recommend best practices.
  • Contribute to the Legal Department’s and the Aerotek Legal Team’s development of legal strategies that align with business needs.
  • Influence senior leaders and executives and become a trusted partner to them.
  • Work effectively as a collaborative partner with team members and stakeholders in relation to employment advice, litigation, and vendor contract matters.
  • Work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations exercising sound judgement.
  • Lead projects or steps within a broader project or have accountability for ongoing initiatives, activities or objectives.
  • Create awareness to business leaders and executives in relation to trends and risks pertaining to Aerotek.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and support to other attorneys and/or legal operations staff within the Legal Department.
  • Assist and provide strategic partnership with legal operations roles and contribute to their development.
  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Member in good standing of State Bar.
  • In-depth knowledge of US Employment and other workplace-related laws.
  • Effective technical, analytical, research and writing skills.
  • Good financial acumen.
  • Strong communication skills and clear writing abilities.
  • Ability to effectively advise and partner across several business and operational functions.
  • Established good, effective, and sustained working relationships and trust with colleagues and business partners.
  • Developing leadership skills and credentials.
  • Ability to manage complex corporate and vendor contractual matters.
  • Ability to provide creative and strategic counsel.
  • Experience and skill developing junior attorneys and/or professional staff.
  • Demonstrable in-depth knowledge/keen awareness of external factors impacting the Company.
