Assistant General Counsel
About The Position
This is an entry level legal position for The Cooper Health System in-house Legal Department. The candidate must possess excellent research and writing skills, and personal characteristics consistent with the highest standards of ethics and professionalism. The candidate must have a strong work ethic and an ability to function effectively in a small law firm-like environment where teamwork, flexibility, and responsiveness are highly valued. The candidate must be motivated to learn a wide array of subject matter and must be able to effectively represent the interests of diverse clients spanning both clinical and non-clinical disciplines and professional and non-professional occupations. #LI-CU1
Requirements
- New graduate - three years’ experience as an Attorney.
- Must be computer literate, experience with Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Must be able to do computer legal research as well as be familiar with other office equipment such as dictating equipment, business calculator, facsimile machine, photocopying machine, multi-line telephone system.
- Juris Doctor Degree required.
- Must possess a valid NJ driver’s license.
