What you will be doing: Assist the Front Office Manager in directing and motivating staff across multiple departments, ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Supervise and support daily operations of the front desk, concierge, valet, and bell stand. Anticipate guest needs, resolve concerns, and maintain positive guest relations at all times. Train, coach, and mentor associates, providing feedback and ensuring adherence to hotel standards. Manage scheduling, staffing, and performance monitoring to optimize service and productivity. Ensure accurate handling of reservations, group arrivals, VIP check-ins, billing, and guest room security. Coordinate with housekeeping, engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless service. Review group requests and special events, preparing the front office team to deliver personalized service. Handle overbookings, no-shows, and late checkouts with professionalism and efficiency. Foster team morale by promoting a cooperative work environment. Perform administrative tasks such as documentation, reporting, and interdepartmental communication.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant Front Office Manager or similar leadership role in a hotel or resort.
  • Strong leadership, organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication abilities, with professionalism under pressure.
  • Proficiency in hospitality systems (Fosse, Opera, POS systems, Microsoft Office, etc.).
  • Ability to multi-task and make sound decisions quickly and effectively.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
