The Assistant Front Office Manager at Flik Hospitality Group is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring guest satisfaction, and supporting front desk staff. This role involves coordinating with various departments, managing inventory control, and maintaining service standards to meet AAA 5-Diamond and PLATINUM SERVICE criteria. The position also includes participating in management meetings, handling guest complaints, and assisting with staff training and scheduling.

  • Assist the Front Office Manager with the daily operation of the Front Desk.
  • Ensure staffing, service, and financial standards are met at the Front Desk.
  • Prepare relevant reports or documentation as needed.
  • Maintain AAA 5-Diamond and PLATINUM SERVICE standards at all times.
  • Participate in the Rooms Division daily Manager on Duty schedule rotation.
  • Attend management meetings related to the Front Desk.
  • Manage rooms inventory control and effective blocking of reservations.
  • Handle guest compliments, complaints, and concerns to ensure satisfaction.
  • Assist with preparing staffing schedules and training of colleagues.
  • Conduct interviews for Front Desk job openings and manage performance reviews.
  • Ensure appearance standards and employee policies are maintained at the Front Desk.
  • Manage the PLATINUM SERVICE program and coordinate same day arrivals.
  • Review Group Resumes, VIP Alerts, and arrival/departure manifests for service consistency.
  • Monitor cleanliness and organization at the Front Desk and back office areas.
  • 2 to 4 years of hotel/conference center front office management experience.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Financial experience and business acumen skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products.
  • Opera software experience strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of Associate's degree.
  • Experience in a luxury hotel environment.
