About The Position

Southeastern Louisiana University's Department of Athletics invites applications for the position of Assistant Football Coach. The successful candidate will assist the Head Coach with all phases of a Division 1 intercollegiate football program including instruction and training of student-athletes in on-court operations, physical and mental player development, motivation, mentorship, instilling disciplines and development of technical skills through quality practice and excellent communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• A minimum of one year of coaching experience at the high school level or above.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree from an accredited university.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations in Division 1 Athletics
• Strong Attention to Detail
• Highly organized and multi-task oriented
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a fast paced team
