About The Position

Position Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: General knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures. Passionate about player development, fundamentals, and mentoring young men in a faith-centered environment. Demonstrated ability to lead, instruct and supervise student athletes. Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Education and Experience: Associates degree or higher preferred. A minimum of three years of experience as a high school, college or professional defensive line coach is required.. Physical Requirements Specific to the Job: Will be exposed to hot and cold weather conditions. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Must be able to traverse various athletic grounds and facilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Position Must be able to: attend all varsity football games (most Friday nights, occasional Thursday night or Saturday) attend morning practices: 6am to 8am or 7am to 9am. attend Saturday film and game planning sessions.
