About The Position

Juniata College is seeking a full-time Defensive Coordinator/Assistant Football Coach to join its athletic program. This twelve-month position involves assisting the Head Football Coach in all aspects of the football program, with a focus on coaching the defense, preparing for games and practices, scouting, and recruiting student-athletes. The role emphasizes collaboration with various campus groups and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable environment within the college community.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of four (4) years of full-time coaching experience at the Division III level or higher.
• Experience as a Defensive Coordinator or equivalent role.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit successful student-athletes.
• Understanding of the Division III philosophy and its role at a private liberal arts institution.
• Valid driver's license required.
