JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW The Assistant Food Service Director (AFSD) plays an important operational, quality control, culinary, and day-to-day leadership role. The Assistant FSD helps the FSD with overseeing food service staff and service operations at a Higher Education location and is an ambassador for Genuine Foods’ to grow and maintain relationships with customers and partners. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team environment, has customer service and culinary orientation and has experience supervising others. Most importantly, the AFSD is committed to Genuine Foods’ mission to use food to improve lives and build community, and is passionate about serving students and educators.
