About The Position

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager supports the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing dining staff, bar operations, and club event execution. This position manages F&B outlets in the absence of the F&B Manager and plays a key role in training, inventory, and member satisfaction.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of progressive responsibility in the food and beverage industry required.
• Skill in resolving customer issues and delivering excellent customer service.
• ServSafe certification required within 90 days of employment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Solid time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work long days and non-traditional hours.
• Ability to make sound decisions quickly.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Occasional lifting of up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a significant floor presence to ensure member satisfaction and employee productivity; handle member inquiries, concerns, and implement service improvement ideas.
• Manage all food and beverage outlets in the absence of the F&B Manager, including beverage carts, snack bar, pool service area, and indoor and outdoor dining areas.
• Assist with ongoing staff training, including pre-shift meetings, live training, and training videos.
• Assist with ordering and inventory control of liquor, wine, and beer.
• Actively participate in the planning and execution of Riverside special events.
• Assist in creating revenue-generating F&B programs by identifying sales opportunities through marketing, promotions, and special events.
• Adhere to all safety, sanitation, food preparation, food storage, and alcohol beverage control policies.
