About The Position

The Senior Assistant Financial Planner prepares preliminary financial planning recommendations of investment, retirement, education, insurance and estate planning in support of the region's Financial Advisors and Associate Financial Advisors. This role involves gathering and analyzing client financial data to identify potential financial solutions and opportunities of concern for Advisor review and client meeting use. The planner will support Financial Advisors in executing existing client relationship strategies based on individual client needs and financial goals, research client-specific topics, and help develop, document, and maintain financial planning processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with financial planning and customer service.
  • Exceptional communication skills; able to write/speak clearly and professionally for a variety of audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail & organization.
  • Adept analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive in maintaining knowledge of new industry rules and regulations relating to financial planning.
  • Working knowledge of a Client Relationship Management software (i.e. Pega, Salesforce, Redtail, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of financial planning software such as eMoney, Money Guide Pro, or similar.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze client financial data to identify potential financial solutions and opportunities of concern for Advisor review and client meeting use.
  • Support Financial Advisors in executing existing client relationship strategies based on individual client needs and financial goals.
  • Research client-specific topics (i.e. industry regulations, tax laws, etc.) and communicate findings to the Addison Avenue Sales team.
  • Help develop, document, and maintain financial planning processes and procedures.
  • Maintain plans in CRM for central record and reference.
  • Meet with a variety of internal and external professional partners to stay informed on current and future client trends and behaviors.
  • May participate in client meetings as a subject matter expert at the request of the Financial Advisor.
  • Communicate with clients to ascertain all necessary documents as needed.
