About The Position

Devereux Massachusetts and Rhode Island provides individualized treatment for children, adolescents and young adults with emotional, behavioral and cognitive differences. We serve individuals throughout the New England area and beyond, and work collaboratively with state agencies and social service providers to ensure an integrated network of care. Our service offerings include residential treatment; campus- and community-based group homes; adult group homes and placement services; a special education day school; autism services; short-term placement; diagnostic services; in-home services; vocational training; and therapeutic foster care. Our programs and services make a difference in the lives of individuals and their families, offering hope, healing, and comprehensive behavioral health support. As the Assistant Finance Director, you will: + Assist in developing, implementing, and managing budgetary practices + Assist the Director in managing the Financial, Facilities, and Information Technology Departments, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and licensing requirements + Prepare, monitor, and implement the Center's annual operating and capital plans + Provides support to Center staff regarding financial operations and reporting + Collaborate with the Director and other team members to meet project goals within quality and cost-effectiveness standards + Demonstrate the skills, knowledge, and ability to implement proactive measures to identify and manage financial risks that potentially could impact the Center's budget

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field required.
  • Three years of business or financial experience, preferably in a healthcare or nonprofit setting required.
  • 3 days of new hire orientation - Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 8AM to 4PM.
