Requirements

• Experience as a member or leader of an interdisciplinary team associated with NEPA processes.
• Ability to utilize computer software programs for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise subordinate employees, including setting performance goals and conducting performance appraisals.
• Plan, assign, and appraise work while advising and mentoring employees.
• Develop recruitment documents and lead the selection process for vacant positions.
• Program annual budgets and performance targets, ensuring expenditures are within budget allocations.
• Provide input for the preparation and implementation of land use plans.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary teams and prepare NEPA documentation.
• Promote communication and coordination with local interest groups and government entities.
• Serve as a key member of the field office management team and act as Field Manager in their absence.
• Ensure compliance with Bureau policies, regulations, and applicable laws.
