About The Position
SAIC Office of Security is currently seeking an AFSO to support the San Diego, Murray Canyon and Hancock CA location operations. The position involves performing duties as Assistant Facility Security Officer for assigned facilities/program/customers, ensuring compliance with various security regulations, and maintaining facility clearance. The AFSO will interface with various security agencies and support SAIC security professionals on programs concerning Industrial Security. Responsibilities include processing visit requests, conducting self-inspections, maintaining security documentation, and ensuring compliance with security education and training programs. The AFSO will also oversee security technologies at the site and ensure that all incidents are reported appropriately.
