About The Position

This position serves as the Assistant Center Director. It is responsible for the operational and programmatic management provided to approximately 200 residents. Under the director, this position oversees the organizational, financial, programmatic and administrative management of Professional Services and Business/ Support Services, Information Management, in the day-to-day operation of the center. Position directly supervises the Director of Professional Services, Business Manager, Information Management Director, LNMTC Police Chief and Director of Nutritional Services. Longleaf Neuro-Medical Treatment Center (LNMTC), located in Wilson, NC, is a state-operated certified Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). With a staff of about 520, LNMTC provides support to approximately 200 residents with complex medical needs and/or co-existing neuro-cognitive disorders.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate the ability to Strategic Plan
  • Experience with and knowledge of the financial planning and budgeting aspects of Mental Health
  • Working knowledge of the mission of a specialized nursing facility
  • Experience and knowledge of financial planning and budgeting
  • Thorough knowledge of the service needs and standards for service delivery for individuals who have complex medical needs and/or co-existing neuro-cognitive disorders
  • Master's degree in human services field from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of administrative, supervisory or professional level treatment programming experience with the population at the facility being served, one year of which must have been in a residential program; or Bachelor's degree in a human services field from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of the above experience requirements, one year of which must have been in a residential program; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
