About The Position

Step into a dynamic leadership role as an Assistant Executive Steward, where you will guide the heart of our Food & Beverage operations—our Stewarding team. In this pivotal position, you will help oversee departmental functions, support team development, and ensure our kitchens, equipment, and back-of-house operations run seamlessly. With a focus on teamwork, communication, and operational excellence, you’ll help create the foundation that allows our culinary and service teams to deliver unforgettable guest experiences every single day.

Requirements

  • Exhibits 2+ years of prior relevant experience in Stewarding within the hotel/casino industry
  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills and the ability to support team development
  • Possesses supervisory experience and understands collective bargaining environments
  • Applies excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily stewarding operations to meet and exceed departmental goals
  • Support Human Resources responsibilities including hiring, training, performance feedback, recognition, and compliance
  • Assist with stewarding-related labor relations issues, including investigations and corrective actions
  • Oversee on-the-job training and development programs through stewarding managers
  • Implement Food & Beverage policies, procedures, training programs, work schedules, and operational standards
  • Coordinate purchasing needs and ensure timely fulfillment of outlet requisitions
  • Ensure team members are properly trained on stewarding procedures and equipment usage
  • Serve as a liaison with contract companies and maintain strong communication with outside vendors and the Health Department
  • Conduct walk-through inspections of kitchen and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
