About The Position

We are looking for a driven and detail‑oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our EPC operations and help execute field and office tasks that keep our projects moving efficiently. The Assistant Project Manager will support project leadership across engineering, procurement, logistics, field operations, subcontractor coordination, and documentation management. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, confident communicating with multiple stakeholders, and eager to grow within fast‑paced EPC construction environments—especially in the renewable energy sector.

Requirements

  • Quick learner with the ability to absorb technical information.
  • Basic comfort reading construction drawings (civil, structural, electrical) or willingness to learn.
  • Strong communicator—proactive, willing to ask questions, and confident coordinating with multiple parties.
  • Problem‑solver with strong critical‑thinking abilities.
  • Takes initiative, follows through on tasks, and “closes the loop.”
  • Reliable, professional, and team‑oriented.
  • Proficiency in Excel and strong digital organization skills.
  • Basic understanding of safety concepts (OSHA knowledge preferred).
  • Comfort working on active construction sites.
  • Interest in renewable energy, EPC work, and solar project environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ACC, Procore, PlanGrid, or similar project management tools.
  • Coursework or background in construction management, engineering, project management, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with subcontractor coordination or field construction workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and organize project meetings, coordinating availability across Conti leadership, field teams, subcontractors, and engineering partners.
  • Run the “sharing” or updates portion of meetings as needed.
  • Take clear and organized meeting minutes and distribute action items to stakeholders.
  • Collect, track, and help organize subcontractor documents in collaboration with Document Control.
  • Assist in monthly reporting documentation, including compiling: QAQC logs KPI reporting Safety logs Production snapshots Engineering updates Compliance logs
  • Support Conti logistics for major material deliveries (as needed).
  • Maintain strong communication with subcontractors and help coordinate field needs, questions, and follow‑up tasks.
  • Be available as a contact for field teams, subs, suppliers, engineers, and internal Conti personnel.
  • Prepare Time & Material (T&M) change order requests for review with the Project Manager (PM) and Operations Manager (OM). Includes both Conti-generated and subcontractor-generated requests.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing on pricing, quotes, cost codes, material deliveries, and vendor updates.
  • Follow up with Accounts Payable to ensure subcontractors and vendors receive timely payment.
  • Manage project Issues within Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
  • Coordinate with trades and Conti site leadership to resolve or close issues.
  • Support project team with ACC file management and tracking workflows.
  • Manage Requests for Information (RFIs) from subcontractors and internal Conti teams.
  • Ensure RFIs are properly logged, distributed, tracked, and closed.
  • Participate in Equans MSV safety audits or similar project-required safety walkthroughs.
  • Maintain basic understanding of site safety expectations.
