About The Position
The Assistant Engineer is a member of the Engineering Department responsible for the maintenance and operation of mechanical and hydraulic equipment onboard the vessel Seaward Endeavor or Seaward Explorer. Assistant Engineers are responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical and hydraulic equipment, as well as lubricating moving parts of the engine and other machinery. Ensures that he/she is capable of navigating through and communicating the requirements and contents of the MS to company representatives, regulatory personnel, and vessel crew members. Minimum DDE 4000 required.
