The Early Childhood Educator Assistant is dedicated to providing essential support in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 6 weeks to 3 years old.

Requirements

• National Early Childhood Credential (CDA/NECC) preferred
• Successful completion of the Florida Department of Children & Families 45-hour Child Care Training in early childhood education (must obtain within 90 days of hire)
• Current CPR and First Aid certification

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive, safe, stimulating, and inclusionary learning environment
• Assist in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities
• Assist in recognizing, adapting teaching strategies, and addressing the individual needs of each child
• Collaborate with the lead educator to maintain open and effective communication with parents and families
