Requirements
- Active RN license in Iowa (or ability to obtain/activate)
- Current CPR certification
- Strong leadership skills and a desire to learn, grow, and support a high-performing team
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Nursing (DON) in planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department
- Assist with staff leadership, coaching, and policy enforcement
- Participate in care rounds, identify concerns, and help implement effective solutions
- Oversee administrative tasks to ensure efficient departmental operations
- Participate in an on-call rotation with the leadership team
