About The Position
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is excited to announce an opportunity to serve as an Assistant Division Administrator - Development in our Information Technology Division (ITD). This individual will ensure that managers reporting to this ADA position are held accountable for executing their programs, defining and continually improving program processes and developing staff. This individual will play a role in understanding specific technology solution needs, assessing current staff technical skills inventory and assigning IT resources to individual efforts. VDOT IT focuses on continuous process improvement which will be a major responsibility of this IT leadership role.
