About The Position
Seeking an Assistant District Attorney to work in the Norfolk District Attorney's Appeals Unit. Position based at main office in Canton. Must be able to travel to courts within the Commonwealth. This is a full-time position based in Canton, MA. While there is the possibility of one day of remote work each week, this is primarily an in-person position.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed attorney in good standing in Massachusetts.
- At least 2 year experience working with the criminal justice system.
Responsibilities
- Drafting and arguing briefs and other post-conviction matters
- Researching and responding to time-sensitive legal questions
- Trial assistance
- Responding to records requests, including requests under the Public Records Law
