About The Position

Nirvana Cannabis is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Distribution Manager to support the daily operations of our Wholesale HUB. This role works closely with the Wholesale Operations Manager to oversee cannabis distribution activities including order fulfillment, transportation logistics, inventory coordination, and regulatory compliance.
The Assistant Distribution Manager plays an important leadership role within the distribution team by helping guide technicians and supervisors, maintaining efficient workflows, and ensuring products are prepared and delivered accurately to retail locations. This position requires strong organizational skills, leadership ability, and a proactive approach to problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in cannabis distribution, logistics, warehouse operations, or transportation, along with prior leadership or supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or GED is required
• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
• All applicants must meet state eligibility requirements for employment in the cannabis industry, including background checks and obtaining or maintaining the appropriate agent licensing where required.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration
• Experience with Google Workspace
• Familiarity with cannabis compliance requirements, inventory tracking, and distribution workflows

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day distribution operations while supporting team productivity and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate distribution schedules
• Monitor order preparation and deliveries
• Ensure that all packaging, handling, and transportation processes meet company standards and state regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Conduct routine inventory checks
• Work with cross-functional teams including production, inventory, compliance, and sales to ensure smooth distribution operations.
• Provide operational updates to management
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
