Prisma Health Child Care Center-Midlands is now hiring an Assistant Director, projected to start in Mach, 2026. Join us as we open a beautiful, new center in Columbia, SC!
This role is a full-time, salaried leadership position with rotating hours between 6:30am and 8:00pm, Monday through Friday. The center will be open in inclement-weather and all employees must follow Prisma Health health and safety protocol.

Requirements

• Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:
• Associate or higher degree in early childhood education, education, or child development related field is required; bachelor’s degree is preferred
• At least two years of leadership experience in high-quality child care, daycare, or preschool settings is required
• Strong understanding of center quality, compliance, health, safety and licensing standards is required
• Must follow Prisma Health heath and safety protocol (including but not limited to drug screening, current immunizations-proof of immunizations on file, annual flu shot or masking during flu season) required
