The Assistant Director Uniform Services is responsible for directing the daily purchasing, issue and inventory operations in support of the Uniform Issue operations at Goodwill Great Lakes. This position ensures the uniform issue inventory is maintained in accordance with contract requirements. RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL: Implements strategy for all NAVSTA Great Lakes Food Service and Logistic contracted requirements Oversees daily operations, directs staff in the development and implementation of departmental policies, procedures and programs. Maintains operating budget and manages expenses. Communicates budgetary performance. Typically works on projects and initiatives that span 1-2 years and focuses on the creation of systems.
